Basic File Search
It looks like loss of files is inevitable for all PC users, even those who are very strict about keeping their hard drives in order. However, files might get lost, so you will require time and effort to find them. Sure, there are conventional tools (usually inbuilt in OS) to search file you are missing. However, such tools may lack important features that make file search convenient and fast. It may also happen that users simply have too little information on missing documents, for example only one keyword from the title or just file type/extension. Use of specialized tools like File Search Assistant (FSA) is highly recommended for users who value their time and cannot tolerate data loss.
Basic search with FSA is a perfect way to find document that has been missing even if no detailed info on this file is available. Thus, it is enough to be aware of at least one keyword that the file is deemed to contain or specify its size, creation date or extension. The more parameters are known and entered into FSA, the faster it will find missing docs. Often, finding important business docs is extremely important while failure to locate missing files may cause problems.
