Disc Space Usage Analysis

Applications are valued based on their usability and set of helpful features. The primary goals of File Search Assistant is to look for (and of course find) missing files in users’ computers, including network hard drives. The search feature is complemented by a number of search filters which make it easy for software, and of course, users to find lost files or documents located in folders containing hundreds of similar files. However, File Search Assistant does not stop here. There is a disc space analysis feature. As known, it is rather problematic to keep computers in order. Users create lots of new folders, copy existing files or download huge archives and totally forget about them.

With FSA it is possible to look at size of folders and thus delete unnecessary files. For instance, FSA helps find large folders so that users look inside. So, it is necessary to select a folder or a whole hard drive and press Search. It may take a while especially if a user needs to scan huge hard drive. FSA show size of both folders and individual files. This is a good way to “clean” hardrive by deleting huge unused files, applications, archives etc.
