Preview Pane
File Search Assistant gains popularity with users due to a large number of helpful features that simplify and accelerate file search. The software features a few search filters to narrow down search results and find exactly the files users might be missing. However, sometimes, too many files meet search criteria, such as size and date, and even keywords. The traditional way is to open each file to make sure this is the document that has been missing. However, FSA offers a better way. It is possible to preview search result right in this software.
Advantages of preview pane
There is a preview pane that makes it possible to see fragments of text parts of documents that meet search criteria and contain specified keywords. Thus, there is no need to open all files to see whether or not you’ve found the required doc. Once search is completed all search results will be available in a list. By simply clicking on a file name fragments of context in which keywords are used will be available to users. As a result, it is possible to find the desired file among dozens of similar docs that happen to meet search criteria. Users may choose among Fragments and All Fragments tabs.
