I am an assistant professor in historical linguistics. I recently purchased FSA for the following reason. An increasing number of articles in my field is being published as PDF’s nowadays. In order to retrieve accurate information contained in those PDF’s I needed a good indexing tool which would give me a quick access to relevant passages, not for once, but also on future occasions.Many of my collegues are also looking for a good program to do the job. After browsing the internet I thought File Search Assistant would be a good choice, which is why I decided to have a go at it.
