Search inside html pages to find missing texts
Searching for missing files can be quite a problem. First of all we should consider growing volumes of hard drives. It is really not easy to find a file in a huge hard drive. These days new computers and laptops are equipped with 250-500GB hard drive discs. Moreover, it is ridiculous but the more spacious disc you have the sooner you will run out of free space.
Modern business cannot function without IT support. Most documents are stored electronically. Thus, a modern office clerk has hundreds of docs in his or her PC. We are just humans and we are not perfect. Sometimes we can save or copy a file and forget its location or a path to the folder.
Traditional method of looking for files is extremely ineffective. We means manual search here. How much time would you need to check entire hard drive? Perhaps, several days or so. Forget about it.
In order to save your time and money you should definitely use File Search Assistant. This powerful files search utility will probably not impress you when you first run it. But don’t worry! As soon as you begin your first search with File Search Assistant you will understand that simple systems always work better.
What is so special about File Search Assistant? When we are talking about advantages of any program we mean its features that perform certain functions or make certain operations more convenient.
In case of File Search Assistant we are talking about the following features:
- File Search Assistant has a preview function. It will save you some time as you can preview found files right in the program without opening all of them to make sure you found the very file you have been looking for. In fact you can preview only those paragraphs that contain keywords which are marked red.
- File Search Assistant has several converters which make it possible to open different file types to look for keywords inside the files (and not only in the file names). Thus, FSA can look for keywords inside HTML pages, for example.
- You can use search by date, size and mask to get the most relevant search results.
a) search by mask is in fact search for a particular file type/extension
b) search by size implies looking for a file of a particular size
c) search by date is helpful in case you know when missing files were created, modified or accessed
