Use more than two layouts on your PC? Got complicated by
always switching between layouts? Use freeware AKS Keyboard
Layout Manager to ignore certain layout when you need! |
AKS
Keyboard Layout Manager
for these who use many keyboard layouts
Keyboard layout is a correspondence between what buttons you press
on your keyboard and what character is displayed by software that
you are using. In Windows you can have more than one keyboard layout
and that is great, when you need to use, say, English and French. It
is not complicated to use two keyboard layouts, but it's a becoming
a hassle when you need to three keyboard layouts at once or
more.
The first problem is that some characters in different layouts looks
the same, and sometime you even don't understand that you are typing
in a wrong layout.
The second problem is that you always need to switch between
layouts, if there just two layouts it is not a problem, but if there
are tree or more, then you will face difficulties.
What a solution can be? We have released a freeware version of AKS
Keyboard Layout Manager, use it to temporary disable some layouts
that you don't need right now.
For instance, if you have installed on your computer English, German
and French layouts and you don't need French layout at this very
moment, then you can disable it by specifying the code of the layout
you want to ignore and the code of layout you wish to use instead.
Want type something in ignored layout? Not a problem, just uncheck
the checkbox and ignored layout is again available in the list of
layouts supported by Windows.
How much does it cost?
How can I get it?
