Selecting text in the entire PDF file

When using Acrobat Reader to view a multi-page PDF file as a "Single Page" layout , choosing the "Edit>Select All" menu command will select all text _only on the one page_ being viewed on the screen. To select *all* text on ALL pages together in the PDF document , first change the viewing mode to either "Continuous" or "Continuous - Facing Layouts." Using "Select All" now will select all text in that PDF (but _not_ in multiple PDFs if more than one document is open at the same time).
