What time does is take to show and comment
your presentation slides? Track and improve your time. Download

First, you should open your presentation slide show. Then run Presentation Time Meter and click “Start” button. Then try to express your ideas orally. This software will show you the total elapsed time.
Once you need to change the slide you click some key at your keyboard or click mouse button. In most presentation programs you will use “Space” key at your keyboard. Presentation Time Meter can track your keystrokes and put a slide speaking time in log automatically.
Once your presentation is over, click “Stop” button to stop logging process. In the final report you will see the time taken for each slide to talk and the total time that your presentation required.
Also, you can reset timer for this very slide, so it will start counting time for the 0:0. This is useful if you had got another idea in mind and want to try presenting this slide again.

What can you do with it? First, you know your total time and can make sure that your speech will be in necessary time interval. Also, you can work with your time sheet and find out what slides took too much time. Finally, you can share this log with others people involved in presentation.
Some comments about user interface
Buttons:
· Start Button– use this button to put down into the log the time taken to explain details of the slide;
· Reset Timer Button – use this button to reset the timer for the current slide;
· Stop Timer – use this button to stop time tracking;
Checkboxes:
· “Catch space keystroke” – if checked then this program will automatically click “Next slide” button once you press “Space” key at your keyboard;
· “Catch mouse click” - if checked then this program will automatically click “Next slide” button once you click left mouse button;
