You can.
And the best you can do is creation of Index. This will allow to accelerate speed of search considerably.
For this:
Open Create new Index... in File menu. Index creation wizard will appear. You will enter items as follows
Dynamic re-indexing - choose it to allow File Search Assistant update data.
Index content - may be short(size and speed of search less) or full(high speed - bigger size); pick necessary.
Index type - may be portable(relative paths) and fixed(full paths);
Index location - destination folder to save index file;
Select folders you wish to include in index for faster search;
Select files you wish to index. Here you should show file masks you want to INCLUDE and EXCLUDE of index;
After that FSA will make indexing of folders you picked and create index file. You can now make search within disk or index as well. |
